The DFA (Dairy Farmers of America) came to Wondersauce for a spring campaign on their flagship products, half & half and heavy cream. Designed for deployment for various regional brands nationwide, our campaign centers around showcasing the delectable qualities of these products. It emphasizes how these dairy staples can transform an ordinary meal into something that’s beautiful and damn good.

Creatively, we aimed to position heavy cream and half & half as these approachable ingredients that are key to delicious meals and unrivaled taste that can't be matched. We did this by creating candid and extremely sensorial videos showcasing dairy mixing, adding, pouring, and swirling into the dish, leaning into peoples cravings.

half & half

While the overall direction for both was 'go all in', our approach to these varied slightly per product. For half & half we wanted to focus on the versatility of the ingredient—making it a kitchen staple. To do this, we made our story about an entire breakfast spread, with half & half as the hero that makes every dish, just that much better.

In addition, we created assets that were just hyper focused on your morning coffee, or just the process of making french toast, this approached allowed us to focus more on long beautiful moments of the half & half swirling in—making it the hero.

Heavy Cream

Heavy cream is a decadent product you'd use for really rich and special meals. So, for heavy cream, we chose to showcase it in a single dish, spring pasta. We chose this dish because we felt it was an approachable meal, with fresh ingredients that evoked a spring feeling and could visually highlight heavy cream in the cooking process.
